SDTP Students Undergo Geek Camp in Bacolod City
SERVIO Technologies, a multinational Information Technology solutions company, and Negros Occidental Language & Information Technology Center (NOLITC) will be conducting a 4-day Software Development Geek Camp to 30 students who are currently undergoing the Software Development Training Program (SDTP) Level 2 in Bacolod city.
SDTP is a 7-month intensive training course that produces entry-level programmers who are in-demand by the Philippine software industry. SDTP is offered in several regions in the country by local training providers, in partnership with CodersGuild.NET
The Geek Camp will kick-off on June 4 at the Cyber Center Bacolod with 13 Software Services and 17 Software Developer students. The workshop is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical and taught knowledge in schools and basic KSA qualifications in any workplace.
Activities include lessons in C# Programming Language, Essential Skills in Communication, Business Analysis and Techniques, Technical Documentations and Practical Tips About the Workplace. Students will also be given exercises and discuss solutions after each lesson to gauge their knowledge on the subject matter.
